Bitcoin Cash-Powered Onlycoins Aims to Compete with the Popular Content Platform Onlyfans – Sharing economy Bitcoin News

Bitcoin Cash followers were recently introduced to a new app that competes with subscription service Onlyfans. The Onlycoins web portal is a similar service to Onlyfans, but instead creators can earn money in bitcoins by publishing quality content and recruiting subscribers.

Youtuber David’s Bond characterizes the cash-based clone of Bitcoin.

Popular youtuber and BCH supporter David Bond recently posted a video to his 501,000 subscribers about a new app that competes with the popular content subscription service Onlyfans.

David Bond, Bitcoin Cash fan and popular Youtuber, discusses the Onlycoins app in his latest video.

Based in London, Onlyfans primarily enables creators to make money from their fans, with individuals paid via pay-per-view (PPV) contributions and one-off gratuities. Bond told his subscribers about a new app called Onlycoins, a platform that offers similar services but pays in BCH and does not accept a 20% discount. Since Onlyfans provides the platform on which the paid content is hosted, the company accounts for a significant portion of its users’ transactions.

Onlycoins is a marketplace for digital content, and creators can receive money directly from fans, just like on a competing app. The platform takes a piece of the pie, as Onlycoins’ commission is 10% compared to Onlyfans’.

Onlycoins’ commission exceeds all current commission models on popular sites like Manyvids (30%), Pornhub (32%) and Clips4sale (40%). Additionally, Onlycoins members are paid directly in Bitcoin Cash (BCH), as the platform provides each individual with a BCH wallet. Onlycoins says the project is still in the alpha phase, and points out that there are currently only small amounts of BCH on the platform.

Currency units begin to fill with subscribers and paid content

To sign up to Onlycoins, all that is required is to accept an email, after which the user can create a profile. Thanks to David Bond’s recent video and mentions on social media sites like noise.cash, the onlycoins.app is already filling up with members.

Of course, like Onlyfans, there’s plenty of adult entertainment on Onlycoins, powered by BCH. Currently, PPV features for images from multiple Onlycoins members can cost anywhere from $0.10 to over $1 to unlock content when submitted through the site.

The developers of Onlycoins also say that the site may evolve into a more sophisticated form as it develops, with the commission rate likely to change. Nevertheless, Onlycoins stresses that it is absolutely our intention to remain cheaper than all relevant competitors. By using peer-to-peer cryptocurrencies like BCH, the platform can easily continue to offer competitive commission rates.
